A rare cask of rum from the now-closed Uitvlugt distillery, distilled there in 1999 and stored in an oak cask which was subsequently purchased by Hunter Laing and taken to their cellars in Scotland. In 2016, after 17 long years of undisturbed maturation, the company began bottling the rum, of which there were only 385. The flavour of the rum is oaky with spice, banana, passion fruit, tropical fruit and a hint of burnt caramel.
