Poněšická plum brandy barrel edition was carefully aged for half a year in oak barrels that my grandfather from Poněšice brought back from France 10 years ago. These barrels, still intact and full of character, give the plum brandy a unique wood note that beautifully complements and yet does not overshadow the distinctive flavour of our plum brandy.
This is the first batch of plum brandy matured in oak barrels, this spirit represents a milestone in the production of Poněšický distillery.
