Quince, like apple and pear, is a staple fruit, but unlike them, quince is not suitable for consumption raw. Only distillation reveals its full, typically fruity yet delicate aroma.

The production of GRIČ quince brandy is demanding; the fruit must be perfectly ripe and the fluff must be removed before mashing, which is very laborious. This process ensures that every drop of GRIČ quince brandy is a concentrated expression of quince with unique aromatic properties.

The optimum temperature for serving Dulovica is 16-18°C. Temperatures below about 7 °C cause a slight cloudiness of the spirit due to the precipitation of aromatic oils, which is a natural phenomenon and does not affect the quality of the spirit.

Grič distillery works with two hand-wrought, all-wrought, all-copper, single-boiler sets with a three-volume distillation column of 300 and 200 litres. These units allow the natural characteristics of the raw materials to be preserved and exploited to the maximum.

Grič distillery offers proven classics such as varietal plum and mead, as well as the latest gin, which is prepared with careful attention to the correct proportions and measurements to ensure a harmonious result. Each batch is produced in small, limited quantities to ensure the maximum quality of Grich spirits.
