GlenAllachie Cuvee 2012 Vintage 9Y is a limited edition whisky that is the result of expert aging in American oak bourbon barrels followed by secondary aging in European wine barrels. Blending four select wine casks from prestigious wine regions, including Languedoc and Valpolicella, and casks from the Premier Cru Classé in Bordeaux, creates a complex and harmonious flavour.

Tasting profile:

Colour: Golden-bronze.

Nose: Aromas of orange blossom and espresso, maraschino cherry and honeysuckle. Complemented by notes of candied stone fruit, hazelnut, lavender and cinnamon.

Flavour: Waves of dark chocolate, redcurrant and burnt coffee beans, followed by crystalline almonds, blackberries and orange peel. Finishes with hints of ginger and liquorice.

Alcohol content: 48 %.  
Volume: 700 ml.  
Age: 9 years.
Limited edition: 6 800 cases worldwide.
