About LAHOFER Winery:
LAHOFER Winery is one of the largest and most important wine producers in the Czech Republic. Its name refers to the artistic woodcarver Jan Lahofer, a native of Dobšice near Znojmo, whose work – a beautiful carved library – now adorns the Strahov Monastery in Prague. This story of honest craftsmanship and attention to detail became an inspiration for the winery itself.
The LAHOFER Winery was founded in 2003 and has been drawing on the rich winemaking tradition of the Znojmo region since its inception, combining it with modern technologies and a professional approach. Since 2006, it has been based in modern premises in Dobšice and produces its wine exclusively from grapes grown in its own vineyards – it currently cultivates over 430 hectares of vineyards in renowned locations such as Lampelberg, U Hájku, Babičák and Volné pole.
