The wine is greenish in colour with silver reflections, with a slightly spicy aroma of nutmeg and a fruity trace of peaches and white currants. The aroma of this fruit is complemented by a fresh and harmonious flavour, which is characterised by a lively acidity and a slight spiciness. The LAHOFER winery is one of the largest grape growers in the Czech Republic.
Together with the company Vinice LAHOFER, it manages 430 hectares of land, for example on the lines Babičák, U Hájku, Volné pole, Waldberg or Lampelberg. This is where the LAHOFER Winery has placed the "Keep Your Head" wine programme. LAHOFER also takes care of the Paradise Vineyard on the historic terraces below the St. Nicholas Cathedral near the centre of Znojmo.
The composition of the vineyards includes practically all the main grape varieties grown in Central Europe. The predominant vineyards are Veltliner Green (16%), Riesling (13%), Müller Thurgau (10%), Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon, Muscat of Moravia, Pinot Gris, Riesling Welsh, Neburské, Tramín Red and Pálava. In the vineyards there are also lesser known varieties such as Kerner, Dornfelder, Blauburger and Alibernet.
