Glenmorangie Pride 1978 is a unique single malt whisky in a limited edition of only 700 bottles. It represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
Glenmorangie Pride 1978 is a blend of several whiskies that have been matured in bourbon casks since 1978, and then this exquisite blend was matured in French Bordeaux Premier Grand Cru wine casks for 15 years. Thanks to its long maturation, this whisky combines a unique depth and complexity of flavours with a fine balance.
It features a rich and complex flavour profile, blending hints of citrus, ripe fruit, spice, vanilla, marzipan, nuts and subtle woody notes along with caramel and milk chocolate to round off a long, elegantly balanced finish.
In 1843, William Matheson founded the Glenmorangie distillery in the Scottish Highlands. He was inspired by the tranquil setting around the Dornoch Firth. The distillery has its own Tarlogie Springs and the longest distillation column in Scotland. It is one of the best single malt whiskies in Scotland.
This whisky is presented in luxurious packaging that reflects its uniqueness and prestige. Each bottle comes with a certificate of authenticity, making it not only a rare tasting treat but also a valuable addition to any collection.
