Rooster Rojo is a handmade 100% tequila made of blue maguey with kosher certificate. Water is used for the mixing of the tequila and it is filtered through Mexican silver, which gives to it its completeness, smoothness and overall finer taste of the final product. Rooster Rojo is the first tequila after its filtration this kind of procedure is used.
Rooster Rojo is produced in the heart of the region, on the foothills of Tequila Hill in Mexico, which is protected in the case of world heritage UNESCO. The production in Fabrica de Tequilas Finos began in 2000 in a beautiful colonial-styled building in twenties. For the production it is used only 100% blue maguey, which is 6-7 years old. During the tequila-production the special yeasts are added to maguey juices. The yeasts are a strictly protected secret of the master distiller.
