A bold, creamy yet surprisingly smooth 25-year-old whisky, illuminated by the Californian sun. It was aged for 15 years in valuable white Chardonnay wine barrels from the renowned Sonoma-Cutrer winery in Sonoma Valley, the birthplace of California wine. Never before had these casks been used by a Glenmorangie distillery, making it a rare experiment. It is thanks to them that this whiskey is intoxicatingly floral and fruity, with a rich taste of citrus and vanilla. Only 1,000 bottles were produced. Each one is individually numbered and hand-signed by Dr Bill Lumsden, confirming the exceptional rarity of this bottling. Unfiltered and bottled at 55.7% ABV.
Producer's address: Glenmorangie Distillery, Ross-shire, IV19 1PZ Schottland, GB
