Inside is a 1987 Dictador rum, sourced from a special selection of Dictador 1982–1988. The rum was aged in sherry, bourbon, and port wine casks, giving it a layered character, rich aromatics, and distinctive depth. Aroma: Freshly cut oak with notes of pine nuts and ginger. Hints of vanilla, lanolin, ginger rum cake, and freshly baked pastries gradually emerge.

This traditional method uses mopa-mopa resin, which, after a labor-intensive process, is dyed with natural pigments, stretched into thin layers, and applied to the decorated objects. The technique is associated with the Putumayo and Nariño regions and is among the craft practices inscribed on UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The Mopa Mopa collection consists of a total of only 360 hand-decorated bottles. It includes 15 unique patterns, with each design produced in small batches of just a few pieces. Model N is thus not only a bottle of premium rum but also a collector’s item of significant artistic value.
