Pear Sudlička - excellent fruit spirit made from ripe pears. Alcohol content 50%, volume 0.7l.
Hrusškovice is made from quality pears, which are very carefully selected and sorted. The pears must be very well ripened. Early pear varieties are unsuitable as they contain a small percentage of sugars and a much smaller amount of aromatic substances.
The whole production process begins with the harvest. The pears are then fed into a large-capacity pear crusher, where they are crushed and then conveyed to a spindle pump, which grinds them into a pulp. The ripe pears are fermented for a minimum of 60 days, without access to air. The characteristic and aromatic elements are transferred to the distillate through this fermentation. This is why great emphasis is placed on it.
For the preparation of 1l of this 50% brandy, 10-14kg of pears are needed, depending on the sugar content.
