Zubří Gin from bottle no. 1 is an exceptional spirit originating in the Wallachian region, where a family distillery was inspired by the traditional methods of old masters. The gin is produced using the steeping method, which involves the long-term maceration of herbs, spices, and bark in an alcohol base, giving it a deep and harmonious flavor.
Characteristics:
The base is formed by juniper berries, to which coriander, iris root, calamus, orange peel and other herbs are added, carefully selected to achieve a balanced and delicate aroma. The result is a gin that will delight both connoisseurs of the classics and those looking for a flavorful, handcrafted gin with the soul of Wallachia.
Serving suggestion:
Ideal with tonic, lime and a sprig of rosemary. Also works well with grapefruit or elderflower tonic to bring out the citrus notes.
Ingredients: Juniper berry distillate, coriander, orris root, calamus, orange peel and other herbs.
About the distillery Zubří :
Zubří distillery is a small family-run distillery that was established in the picturesque Wallachian countryside in 2011. It continues a long tradition of producing fruit distillates and liqueurs that has been passed down through the family for generations.
Every bottle is made with a love of craftsmanship, respect for nature, and a desire to do things right. The key to quality is the careful selection of fruit, sourced exclusively from small regional growers who share a passion for purity and authenticity.
