Bushmills 25 Year Old undergoes a complex maturation process that begins with four to six years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The whiskey is then finished in first-fill ruby port pipes where it is aged for a further 21 years. This unique maturation process gives the whiskey a rich profile full of luxurious dark fruit flavours.
The casks in which the whiskey is matured are made from fine European oak and were personally sourced from a family cooperage that shares the values of quality and artisanal precision with Bushmills Distillery.
