The legendary and delicious herbal liqueur from the days of Hašek Švejk is back!
The original Polish recipe from 1901, consisting of anise, fennel, coriander and cumin, has been supplemented with five more herbs that result in a completely unique taste and aroma.
This entire blend of herbs was macerated for months in mead (mead spirit) and then stored in the cellar to mature.
It was hugely popular during the First Republic, when it was part of every pub and was one of the most commonly consumed alcohols ever! One mention in Švejk ensured its immortality.
