Bruichladdich Octomore 13.3 is the third and final release in the 13 series. This excellent light amber whisky is matured for five years in first-fill American whiskey casks and second-fill European oak casks.
Octomore 13.3 is matured 100% on the island of Islay. Only Scottish Concerto barley is used, which like 13.1 was harvested in 2015.
The phenolic content of 13.3 is also slightly lower than its two predecessors.
NOSE: Vanilla, brown sugar, green fruit
TASTE: Fruity, fresh, round, hints of brown sugar, green fruit, smoke
