Anton Kaapl Quince is an exclusive spirit from the Anton Kaapl craft distillery in the heart of South Bohemia. This unique product is created from quinces that undergo a process of alcoholic fermentation and subsequent distillation. The distillate is then diluted with soft, demineralised water from a 102 metre deep borehole in the Klikovo formation of the Třeboň Basin, which guarantees its purity and fineness. Without any other additives, this spirit retains the authentic taste of quince in its purest form.
History and heritage:
Anton Kaapl, the founder of the distillery, was a war veteran and mayor of Jílovice from 1928 to 1932. The family tradition of distilling fruit spirits dates back to 1586, and the distillery continues this tradition with an emphasis on quality and craftsmanship. In 2018, the distillery obtained a trademark and its products are protected not only in the Czech Republic but also internationally through WIPO.
