Skanzen Sour Cherry is a delicate fruit distillate made from sour cherries grown in the orchards of Buchlov at the foot of the Chřibské Hills. It offers the distinctive character of sour cherry brandy, blending the fruitiness of dark-red sour cherries with the typical stone fruit aroma.

Production:

This sour cherry brandy is made from sour cherry distillate and drinking water, without any unnecessary additives. Thanks to its pure composition, the natural expression of the fruit, the delicate flavor, and the specific notes of sour cherry pits come to the fore. With an alcohol content of 42%, it is balanced and pleasant, while retaining the sufficient intensity of a high-quality fruit distillate.

Skanzen Distillery features a two-pot still with a capacity of 300 liters and an exceptional five-stage column still for 170 liters, enabling the production of traditional spirits from the finest local fruit.

Within the Center of Slovácko Traditions, you will find not only the distillery but also the Skanzen Market, where selected products are offered, including traditional spirits and excellent wines from the local wine trail.
