Skanzen Pear is a fine fruit spirit made from Lucasova pears, also known as Lukasova máslovka or Alexander Lukas. This winter pear variety is prized for its aromatic character, and when carefully processed, it imparts a distinctive, clean, and easily recognizable pear flavor to the spirit.

Production:

The spirit is made from high-quality pears sourced exclusively from Moravian orchards, specifically from the Slovácko region. Thanks to carefully controlled fermentation and double distillation, the typical aromatic and flavor elements of the fruit are transferred to the final distillate. With an alcohol content of 44%, it offers a balanced ratio of intensity, smoothness, and fruitiness.

Skanzen Pear won the title of Overall Winner of Distillate of the Year 2022 and also succeeded in the Regional Food of the Year 2022 competition. These awards confirm its quality and rank it among the most distinctive Moravian fruit distillates.

Skanzen Distillery boasts a prestigious location within the Center of Slovácko Traditions, which is an integral part of the touristically significant Skanzen Modrá complex. This distillery is the heart of Slovácko culture, where traditional fruit distilling methods are preserved with a modern approach.

Skanzen Distillery features a two-pot still with a capacity of 300 liters and an exceptional five-stage column still for 170 liters, enabling the production of traditional spirits from the finest local fruit.

Within the Center of Slovácko Traditions, you will find not only the distillery but also the Skanzen Market, where selected products are offered, including traditional spirits and excellent wines from the local wine trail.
