Aroma: The aroma of this whiskey will enchant you with notes of yellow plum jam on raspberry tart, blueberry turnovers and graham crackers with cinnamon sugar. Orange zest with a hint of cocoa dust and subtle notes of leather collector's bag also join in.

Palate: On the tongue, the flavours of raspberry jelly with jalapeños on toasted brown bread develop, enriched by orange slices with cloves and the sweetness of dates with vanilla. Accompanied by homemade applesauce with cinnamon sticks and subtle notes of fried dough with powdered sugar.

Finish: A long and complex finish brings flavours of cherry fruit leather, ginger chews and oatmeal with cream and golden raisins, finishing with fresh notes of cracked pepper.

History:

High West Distillery was founded in 2006 in Park City, Utah by husband and wife team David and Jane Perkins. David, a former biochemist, was inspired to start the distillery by his knowledge of biochemical processes and their similarities to whiskey production.

High West Whiskey Rendezvous is best enjoyed neat, with a splash of water or on the rocks. Its robust flavor also makes it ideal for classic cocktails like the Manhattan or Old Fashioned.

High West Whiskey Rendezvous is named after the annual summer gathering of "mountain men" called the rendezvous. With an annual limited release, the Rendezvous becomes a treasure trove for any whiskey collector. Each bottle represents a unique blend of straigh rye whiskeys aged from 4 to 7 years old, aged in new, charred American white oak barrels.
