High West Whiskey American Prairie is a carefully crafted blend of premium straight bourbons from Utah that captivates with its rich, earthy, and complex character. This bourbon is named after the American Prairie Reserve, an organization dedicated to creating one of the largest nature reserves in the continental United States. It is precisely because of this connection that the bottle not only has a distinctive flavor profile but also a powerful story.
The blend consists of straight bourbons aged 2 to 13 years in new charred American white oak barrels. As a result, the whiskey comes across as harmonious, mature, and very well-balanced.
Tasting Profile:
Color: Resembles straw-colored wine with golden highlights.
Aroma: Classic bourbon, sweet vanilla, delicate caramel, spices, and a hint of caramelized apples.

The aroma reveals the typical bourbon character, complemented by sweet vanilla, delicate caramel, spicy notes, and a hint of caramelized apples on the finish. The taste is rich, earthy, and long-lasting, making it appealing to lovers of classic American bourbon with a fuller body.
High West Whiskey American Prairie is perfect for leisurely sipping as well as for moments when you want to reach for a bourbon with a distinctive personality and an interesting story. Plus, 10% of sales go to support the American Prairie Reserve.
About the High West Brand:
High West is an American whiskey brand and distillery based in Utah, founded in 2006 by David and Jane Perkins. David Perkins originally worked as a biochemist, and the similarities between distillation, fermentation, and his previous professional work led him to whiskey production.
High West became the first legal distillery in Utah since 1870. Starting as a small production facility and saloon in a historic building in Park City, it has gradually grown into an internationally recognized brand known primarily for its original whiskey blends.
