Glenmorangie The Vindima 16Y Highland is a celebration of Vindima, the traditional Portuguese grape harvest festival held annually in Madeira. Lasting almost two and a half months, this unique festival is known for its intense connection with nature and joyous celebrations that culminate in singing, dancing and euphoria in the town once the arduous harvest is over.

About Glenmorangie:
The story of Glenmorangie began in 1843 when farmer William Matheson and his wife Anne built a distillery in a remote area of the Scottish Highlands. Despite the fact that their business was small and sold whisky for just a shilling a gallon, the Mathesons had a vision that laid the foundation for one of Scotland's most famous whisky distilleries.
Glenmorangie has gone through many changes and developments thanks to the work of many dedicated team members. One of the most important was Gordon L. Smart, who became distillery manager in 1920 and held the position for half a century. Under his leadership, and thanks to the '16 men of Tain', the distillery perfected its whisky production methods, ensuring a high quality product.
Today, Glenmorangie is home to the '24 Distillers of Tain', led by Edward Thom, who in 2022 was awarded Global Distillery Manager of the Year by Whisky Magazine's Icons of Whisky Awards. Glenmorangie Distillery maintains strong relationships with the local community and continues to attract new generations of enthusiasts to the production of its award-winning whisky.
Glenmorangie The Vindima 16Y Highland is perfect for special occasions, celebrating the harvest or just as a luxurious addition to an evening of relaxation.
