Production:

Jack Daniel's distinctive style is created, in part, by the Lincoln County Process. Before being placed in barrels, the freshly distilled whiskey is slowly filtered through approximately three meters of maple charcoal. This process helps refine the final flavor and give it its characteristic smoothness.

The whiskey is then aged in handcrafted American oak barrels. The aging period is not strictly determined by a calendar. Tasters determine when individual barrels are ready based on color, aroma, and taste.
