The second release of the joint project of Svachovka distillery and R.Jelinek distillery. This friendly collaboration between Old Well and Gold Cock is created primarily for whisky fans from the Czech and Moravian whisky community.
Gold Cock provided the peated whisky, where the malt was prepared by the Bruntál malting plant and then distilled in Vizovice. The whisky then rested in 300 l virgin oak casks from Bařina cooperage.
Old Well also put in a peated whisky, from Scottish barley from Bairds maltings, which was distilled on a copper pot still. The whisky was then matured in bourbon and Marsala wine casks.
In our case, it was matured in a 190 litre Maker's Mark cask. The distillate ratio is 60%/40% in favour of Old Well. The whiskies blended in this way rested together for 12 months
